Similar to the evils of the Big Brother task (eww reality sidesways spitting), I’m setting Team PPP (Karl, Ross and Orla) individual missions whilst in Las Vegas!

These are their missions if they choose to accept them (**If they don’t they get the boot and can swim home to Ireland, wearing nothing but a sequined tutu and pair of mickey mouse slippers!)

Ross, your mission if you choose to accept it** is to run around Las Vegas in a mankini! (Rules: away from the prying eyes of young children! Photo required as proof of mission accomplishment, Mankini must be returned WASHED to management!)

Orla, your mission if you choose to accept it** is to score Patrik Antonius. (Rules: away from the prying eyes of young children! Photo required as proof of mission accomplishment - hmmm…I think we’ll need to define “to score” at a later date on this one!)

Karl, your mission if you choose to accept it** is to sport a pair of butt-less chaps and a golfing umbrella attached to your forehead and walk 50 metres of the Las Vegas Strip at noon singing “I’m a yankie doodle dandy.” (Rules: Photo and taped recording required as proof of mission accomplishment. After completion of this mission you must pack the chaps into your suit case (unwashed) and return them to Dublin) (clearly I hate you the mostest..)

The first Pokerteer to achieve his/ her mission will win 1 million VDN (Vietnam Dong) (€50!!!). The last is sacked..

People often ask me.. why? Why is the sky blue? Why do people spend endless hours watching the kind of people on reality shows that normally they wouldn’t spit at sideways whilst ambling to the supermarket? Why does everyone but YOU get to go to Vegas to the WSOP and YOU have to stay at home writing reams of nonesence and asking yourself stupid questions in order to fill up a paragraph on the paddypowerpoker.com Blog?

“HEY!” I would say! if anyone really asked me those questions. “Don’t rub it in ok?!” If forked lightning hits the Rio Suites over the coming week then I SHALL DOMINATE THE WORLD (of poker) (in ppp) (at my desk) THEN WHO WILL LAUGH! WHO???!

Team Paddy are all set for ‘The Big Dance’. The WSOP $10,000 Main Event is only 2 weeks away and our beloved online qualifiers are looking to take it by storm. Early estimates put the size of the field at up to 7000, making the first prize of almost $10 million well worth a few days sitting at a table!

Can’t see the attraction of the place for the life of me…

Well the flight is booked, the hotel is dusting down the royal suite and the casino vaults are getting ready for the biggest moment in Las Vegaseseses history - the arrival of the Ross.

I’ll be posting daily reports from Sin City, so stick the kettle on, put your feet up and prepare to be transplanted in to the capital of cool by reading the words from my blog.

Three days to go and I’ll be in Las Vegas - what more does a girl want! Bright shiny sparkly lights, endless shopping escapades aka Julie Roberts in Pretty Woman and great weather to top up a tan (out goes the bottle of St Tropez!!!) - nice dream while it lasted - This trip is all about work work work!

But thats not actually a bad thing! Most corporate trips away involve endless hours in small rooms listening to presentation after presentation. We’re gonna be in Las Vegas to spread the poker gospel about Europe’s biggest and oldest poker tournament - the Irish Open. But not only that, we’ll be there to cheer on our very own paddypowerpoker.com WSOP qualifiers!! (Best of Luck to you all!!) and I’ll be there to check out Patrik Antonius!!

Now, priorities first … I wonder where I can get my nails done in Vegas??? hmmm
