Nooooooooooo - man down, man down!

We are at the start of level 4 and blood has already been shed, bodies strewn across the battlefield include Donnacha “The Don” O’Dea, Roy “The Boy” Brindley and Katja “The Hot German” Thater.

Of our boys, Andrew Dwyer had been badly injured during level 3 and was left with little room to manouvre.  With the blinds at 100/200 a nasty villain, I’m pretty sure he was some sort of Communist, Fascist, Fundamentalist, Right-wing Liberal, limped under the gun.  Andrew stood brave and tall and pushed all of his 1,200 chips heroically into the middle.  Everyone folded except the villain who calmly flipped over KK.

Andrew had a chance, he had A9, we instantly knew he had about a 30% chance to doulbe up. Over time he would win this hand once out of every three times he played it.  Could this be that one time?!!

Nope - the flop did nuttin and he was out. Bugger.

A single tear rolled down the cheek of Rory Curtis as his Commando buddy left the room.  But in death there is life and Rory is well placed to make a solo assault on Day 1a - he has a healthy 16k.
