Tension is building at Citywest…

Citywest is BUZZING! I think I tripped over a WSOP bracelet earlier on today, there are so many winners around - it’s like walking down the streets of Tralee, you’d see All-Ireland medals in the gutter with so many knocking around in the Kingdom! Apologies to those of you who don’t follow the national sport of Ireland, Gaelic Football, the image might be lost on you…that said, Ireland has a new national sport (for the week that is in it at least), the glorious game of Poker is taking over! For your own sakes, try to stop by Citywest at some point between now and next Monday (whether you are within walking, swimming, driving, sailing or flying distance of Dublin!), as the excitement will be non-stop! The Paddy Power Poker Irish Open 2008 is getting ready for the off!

Ah, now, I think that was all….nothing else to mention…

…oh yeah, that small matter of tonight’s Irish Open Online $300 Blog-tastic Freeroll password! That’s the only reason you’ve been coming here, admit it! Well, since I’m contractually obliged to tell you, I’ll forget my injured pride: tonight’s password is: chip95

Stay tuned to the blog for more updates from Citywest and tonight’s Super Satellite to the Irish Open and let me know how you get on in the freeroll! Remember, during the Irish Open you can ask the blogging team for updates on your favourite players and we’ll do our very best to find out for you…

We would appreciate any updates you might have on Ciaran O’Leary. A group of his mates in Seattle and San Francisco will be checking in on his progress. We couldn’t get an overlay like 175-1 at Cheltenham, so we tossed it down on him to win instead. We know he has the stamina, we just hope he breaks well and doesn’t encounter too many bad beats. I’m guessing the “Luck of the Irish” is somewhat nuetralized in The Irish Poker Open.

    Cheers!
