Big Paddy And The Onliners

The PP Online Qualifiers look like what Jack Charltons Euro 88 squad would look like if they were brought out of retirement to play in a charity 25 a side football match. The ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL jersies they don, are, to coin a phrase, too small! I’ll offer my shirt to the highest bidder (6 pints and a kebab will suffice) but, hey, they’re still playing, unlike Big Jack and his men.

Other observations include the death defying manner in which Mick McCool is seemingly attached to an invisible chair, hovering in some kind of vacuum. He seems to be a closet yoga expert they way he balances like that. If he gets moved table, they should just bring the table to him, cos he ain’t moving.

Texas Dolly too. He seems to be asleep, which may be something to do with the Sahara like conditions in the main hall, but he has still managed to get to circa 15k. He’s that good.

Ian Frazer is in a somewhat more detatched mood this evening, as opposed to last night, where rumours were earlier confirmed that he did ingact offer some lucky punter to a game of spoof for 10k. Not such a good tonight, minus the gargle.

Dave Colclough looks as stressed as always, yet he’s got reason to be stressed as he looks across the table to Ram Vaswani’s ever increasing stack which at the last count was around 25k.

Roland de Wolfe has ditched the diet seemingly. Last seen scarpering from the physio this morning straight for a bowl of bar chips. Next he’ll be shipping all his chips UTG with A 5 o/s! (sorry Fox)

Last but not least to the cameraman who observed a colleague reaching to ludicrous angles in order to get a shot of a player with a ginger afro who is sitting beside a particularly fine dealeress. His colleague duly obliged, showing him the perfect shot of said player…the original inquisitor left with the parting shot “just checking to make sure you’re behaving yourself with that camera”.

Tune in at 8…
