Doyle keeps it Tight
Doyle Brunson is folding every hand I swear. I’ve been trying my best to swoop in on him in a big pot but to no avail. Fold, fold, fold. He’s still sitting on a pretty comfortable 12+k though.
His table just saw a few fireworks though. Local guy John O’Reilly and Michael Finn saw a free flop in the blinds. It came down 5c 4s 4c. O’Reilly led out for 400 and got a quick call. The turn was the 8s. Again, O’Reilly fired 400 and this time Finn bumped him up to 1,200. O’Reilly looked a bit puzzled but made the call anyway.
The river was the 7d which is where things got interesting. O’Reilly now checked it to Finn who pushed 1,200 into the pot. O’Reilly check-raised it up to 3k, leaving him with just 3k behind. Finn folds and O’Reilly showed the table the 5d 6c for the straight…somebody got very lucky with the turn and river there!
