Opponent Statistics

The paddypowerpoker.com odds calculator does all the hard work for you. While you are sitting at the table, it reads the actions of your opponents from the dealer summary in the chat box and records key pieces of information to profile the players with. It tells you how aggressive they are pre and post flop and lets you know how loose or tight they are.

This data is collected using the same information you receive while sitting at the poker table. PPP odds calculator does this by reading the log files supplied in the dealer summary. The major difference is that PPP Odds calculator actually remembers the action and automatically recalls it for you. Top professionals have amazing card memory - so can you!

Play money, real money and tournament data are tracked separately as the style in which these game types are played can differ considerably.

Opponents Stats will be collected even if you're sitting out. This data is kept locally on your computer and will be loaded automatically next time you're sitting with a tracked player.

VP$IP (Voluntary Put Money In Pot): Percentage of games a player voluntarily puts Money in the Pot. Blinds do not count unless a player completes the small blind or calls a raise from either blind. It measures a player’s tightness/looseness, which helps indicate the range of hands that the player will see a flop with.

PFR: Pre-flop r aise percentage. If a player has a large PFR percentage value this could mean that they raise pre flop with a large range of hands. Conversely a small percentage is likely to mean they only raise with premium hands preflop. This should help you when determining whether to call or not.

AF (Aggression Factor): It measures a player's aggression/passivity, which represents the player's betting tendencies after the flop. The AF PPP odds calculator provides, is the combined AF totals of the flop, turn, and river.

AF = (Raise% + Bet %) / Call %

WSD: To further categorize aggressive players, we use "Went to Showdown %" to measure whether a player is Solid or Overplay.

WSDW: Went to Showdown and Won percentage. This section should give you an indication on how strong a hand has to be for a player to take it all the way to showdown. A small percentage here could mean that a player will literally play any hand.
