London 1st December 2006

Some familiar faces showed up for the sellout showdown in the Sportsman on the last leg of the UKPT. World Strip Poker Champion Jon Young, Late Night Poker legend Korosh Nejad, EPT finalist Stuart Nash, Stephen McArthur a Scottish student who played in Edinburgh and Banbridge and, of course, Martin ‘The Butcher’ Dunne who could reasonably be crowned King of the UKPT, having played in every event and final tabled twice.

A tough final table which included Nash and Swansea Masters champion Jeff Rogers was swiftly shaken then stirred by ‘007’ Yilfet Sheuket who bullied his way to the £7,168 first prize.

The tour broke new ground for grassroots poker in the UK and Paddy Power Poker would like to thank everyone who took part and made these events special as we already look forward hitting the road again in 2007.
